Sheila’s directing style is dynamic, physical, music driven, and ensemble based.
Her bold approach complements heightened language plays, and she excels at creating seamless, story driven transitions that work effortlessly with fast paced narratives and contemporary shows. Sheila enjoys brainstorming with design teams, stage management and production crews and sees directing as part of a larger collaborative process.

Adapted for the American Academy of Dramatic Arts Company, this live theatrical production was filmed and broadcast in November 2020.

A streamlined, action driven adaptation of the original masterpiece, accompanied by an electric guitar and featuring a multinational, multiracial ensemble of eight.
